Self Driven Activity – IICs are encouraged to plan their own activities apart from IIC calendar for promoting entrepreneurship and innovation in their campuses. They may have collaborations with different agencies, departments, and Industries for organizing seminars, competitions, workshops, training sessions relevant to entrepreneurship and innovation.

NATIONAL DIGITAL SECURITY CONFERENCE\’ 19 The National Digital Security Conference 2019.Smt. Padma Jaiswal, I.A.S, Secretary to the Government, Department of Information Technology, Pondicherry addressed the gathering about the necessity of awareness about cybersecurity among the public. Our Special guest Dr. E. Khalieraaj, Additional Director General- National Cyber Defense Research Centre (NCDRC) insisted on various measures to be taken for implementing cyber security. Quarter I
HACKATHON in cyber security Cybersecurity hackathon conducted for the students and Dr. V.S.K.Venkatachalapathy, Director cum Principal delivered the welcome address to the gathering. The event was then presided over by Mr.Munishkumar.G, Founder & CEO, Bug Discover, and Chair Member-NCDRC. More than 500 participants from all over the country participated enthusiastically in the event. The students who cleared the I phase of the hackathon participated in the second phase The top five participants of the hackathon were awarded a cash prize. Quarter I

Idea submission for internal Hackathon for SIH2020 SIH 2020, the students would have the opportunity to work on challenges faced within various Ministries, Departments, Industries, PSUs and NGOs to create world class solutions for some of the top organizations including industries in the world, thus helping the Private sector hire the best minds from across the nation. Quarter II
Internal Hackathan for Smart India Hackathon 2020 SIH Internal Hackathon [Software & Hardware] will be conducted on January 21 and 22 2020 (Tuesday and Wednesday) The idea-cum-team selection will be conducted by panel of Judges during the Internal Hackathon and the judgment will be solely based on the Idea Documents [to be presented by prospective team in the prescribed format only]. Evaluation criteria will include novelty of idea, complexity, clarity, and details in the prescribed format, feasibility, practicability, sustainability, the scale of impact, user experience and potential for future work progression.
